Thanks for the heads up! I am trying to order the book but having trouble with Amazon.

I've been working with my perception for over a year and feel that I may have loosened it up a bit but not nearly enough. Continuing the process is high priority for me because I feel it is essential both to accomplishing what I need to do now and to responding to the change that I feel is coming in 2012.

I'd like to get the book read during the holidays.

I have had many reminders this year that I am NOT my body. I have watched my body age more than usual, thanks in part to the Reclast poisoning.

I like the way Wayne Dyer addressed this. He reminds us that our bodies are the garages in which our souls are parked. Some ministers preach that our bodies are the Temple of God. I read into this that I am to respect my body and take good care of it. But there is more to "self" than the garage.

Today I was clearing my brief case and came upon a mission statement that I wrote in 1994, the October after the flood destroyed the office. Number six on the list is as follows:

"To take good care of my body, mind and spirit so that they will function well during my physical sojoun.

Thanks for the reminder!

“Wow, what a saga.”

I quite agree; in fact, it’s unique in my experience. I believed what you describe was theoretically possible and very desirable but this is the first time I’ve heard anyone describe doing it. This sharpens the focus for me and encourages me to see if I can manifest something similar in this existence. I’m blessed with some challenges, financial among them, that provide excellent opportunities using the process you describe.

I like your quote from Proverbs a lot. In fact it has become my favorite, displacing my long-term “He who meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a passing dog by the ears.” I guess that was my favorite because I almost got myself killed proving its truth.

Thanks for the top quality information and inspiration!

I have to tell you about my experience with having to show my weaknesses. :) The first time I "exposed" my weaknesses to some friends, they looked at each other and laughed. They said, "Everyone was wondering how long it was going to take you to see that!" LOL! Seems like the only people we can hide our weaknesses from... is our own self! I felt pretty silly the first time I saw that. It is quite comical, isn't it?

I have been working with and evolving my DDP for over a year. Here is its present form:

I want a career in which I support with maximum effectiveness the shift from the Piscean (the parent-child dynamic) to the Aquarian (the team work and cooperation dynamic) era. I want to be fully co-creative with each of my coning teams (various aspects of the invisible forces of nature). I want medical practice, a blog, a web site, and improving nature balance in Questing Wode (the property where I live) to be parts of this process.

Creating and activating my DDP has been an essential part of the most productive and fulfilling year of my life.

I appreciate what Otis has posted about his DDP. To me, it is encouraging and inspiring. I would like for everyone to have the support and empowerment that comes from creating and acting upon his or her own unique DDP.

Anthony, you have no idea how much my wife, Sara, agrees with you, LOL! She's only been telling me that for two years. I can be a little slow on the uptake, but once I get it, it G-E-T it! Thanks for your comment. Best, Otis

dear sir.
life is a wonerful process that reveals itself as our need arises. i am extremely happy that at this specific time you have realized the need to become a leader. reading your blog is a reaffirmation of what i am learning. you stated just what i always believed in the back of my mind, maybe i should say, knew in my heart; you cannot teach how to be a leader, you can only lead. i may be wrong, but did buddha teach how to be a buddhist, or did jesus teach us how to be a christian? you are on the right path my brother. continue toward the light. zero,
                                                                                       anthony

As soon as I read your post I dropped everything I was doing on a jam packed Saturday so that I can respond. I think what you are beginning with this blog is that important. For the past 60 years, since I became a patrol leader in the Boy Scouts, I have been working on the process of becoming a leader. In the past year I believe I have made some progress. I intend to make a lot more before this body dies. I believe that my participating in this new blog will significantly support that intent.

I appreciate what you are doing here, intend to gain greatly from it, and to do my best to give as good as I get.
